The Inside Scoop
To my delight, Oscar Boyd of the Japan Times’ Deep Dive podcast asked me if I could rap with him about Hiroshima for the 75th anniversary of the bombing.
We conducted the meeting over Skype, and I trained one of my best mics on me so I could send him high quality audio after the meeting was over. He’s a great host and kept me talking about Hiroshima for a solid hour and in the end even managed to organize my impassioned babbling into a coherent half hour show. Bravo!
All that said, it was an honor to have an opportunity to share a little about my adopted hometown on Oscar’s show. I always feel like I still have so much to learn about Hiroshima, but listening to the podcast, I thought I sounded like I might actually know a thing or two, LOL
But even so, I’d better keep studying just to be sure.
