Bark – Editing, Layout, and Signup Page
“Tell the Forest Service to Get Rid of Crumbling Old Logging Roads!”

It was up to me to edit this piece, and prepare a signup page for folks who were interested in Bark’s then-new campaign to remove old logging roads from Mt. Hood National Forest.

Client: Bark is a Portland 501(c)(3) working to protect Mt. Hood National Forest.

Project Description: Edit, upload, and layout Bark’s email newsletter so it’s ready to go out to supporters. Additionally, format the web version of the newsletter, and create a signup page for people interested in the specific campaign discussed in the email.

The Inside Scoop

It was up to me to edit this piece, and prepare a signup page for folks interested in Bark’s then-new campaign to remove old logging roads from Mt. Hood National Forest.

This piece also saw the reuse of my customized “Bark Share Button.”

Love that thing.

For the signup page, I kept things pretty simple. Because the commitment was low, a longwinded signup page would have deterred a lot of people.

As it was, the page showed reasonable success, and those who signed up proved to be valuable contacts for Bark’s future efforts on the campaign.

My Favorite Part

Getting people involved to protect the environment.
