Regrowth after Forest Fire

Bark – Editing, Layout, and Design
“Are Forest Fires Good for Forests?”

Around this time, Bark was looking to tryout designs that increased click-through rate.

Client: Bark is a Portland 501(c)(3) working to protect Mt. Hood National Forest.

Project Description: Edit, upload, and layout Bark’s email newsletter so it’s ready to go out to supporters. Additionally, format the web version of the newsletter and “Action Page.”

The Inside Scoop

Around this time, Bark was looking to tryout designs that increased click-through rate. The box I placed at the top of the page with the custom designed “Take Action Now!” button stemmed from that intention.

I created the button in HTML and CSS, but due to the limitations of Bark’s online system, I actually wound up having to place it in the page as a photo.

I also added the highlight to the image of the trivia card.

My Favorite Part

The fact that Brenna Bell, Bark’s lawyer, used a Trivial Pursuit card to prove her point. That’s just what’s up!
